美國合作編目計畫 (Program for Cooperative Cataloging, PCC) 於2023年11月公布「PCC RDA實施任務小組」(PCC RDA Implementation Task Group) 對於「PCC 將於2024年5月1日至2027年4月30日滾動實施官方RDA」相關計畫，配套措施之一即包括推出官方RDA入門培訓課程，第一階段 (Phase 1: PCC Introductory RDA Training) 的培訓課程，已於2024年12月13日正式上線。

RDA入門培訓課程的訓練教材，係由訓練常設委員會RDA訓練任務小組：專書 (Standing Committee on Training (SCT) RDA Training Task Group: Monographs) 的前任和現任成員所編寫。

第一階段 (Phase 1: PCC Introductory RDA Training) 的培訓內容包括17個模組，提供PCC編目員、政策制定者和專家識別3R計畫 (3R Projects) 期間導入的關鍵變更、RDA Toolkit之使用和導航、理解新的概念並定義關鍵詞彙等術語。17個培訓模組係專為面對面或虛擬教學而設計，可用於自學或培訓本地、區域或國家的編目人員。

第一階段培訓是為第二階段培訓的學習者作準備，第二階段培訓將著重在RDA實務。

In 2020, the Program for Cooperative Cataloging (PCC) Task Group on Identity Management in NACO sponsored a 14-month PCC Wikidata Pilot, complete with learning objectives, for participants to experiment with Wikidata, an open linked data platform. UCLA Library joined the Pilot to create and edit Wikidata items related to UCLA Library’s collections and UCLA Library entities. With the Pilot’s conclusion, the UCLA Library Pilot team reflected on lessons learned. By assessing UCLA Library’s experience against the Pilot’s learning objectives, the authors hope to contribute on-the-ground insights that may be relevant to PCC’s progress toward identity management, and the role Wikidata may play in this transition.

The University of Missouri System (UM System) consists of the University of Missouri-Columbia (MU), University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC), University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL), and the Missouri University of Science & Technology (Missouri S&T). For over two decades, the libraries of the UM System, along with the State Historical Society of Missouri, used Innovative Interfaces products as a shared integrated library system. In the summer of 2021, the libraries decided to migrate to FOLIO, with a go-live date of June 2022. This essay will examine some aspects of the migration and implementation process from a cataloging perspective, while also providing a discussion of significant challenges and workflow changes that came about post-implementation.
