「第7屆歐洲 BIBFRAM E研討會」於2023年9月19日至20日在比利時布魯塞爾舉辦為期2天的研討。

第1天研討除了 LC 公布相關更新外，主要重點包括 LD4P 的介紹、Share-VDE 與 Share Family 的介紹、Share-VDE 的可用性研 究、BIBFRAME 的互通性、新加坡國家圖書館有關鏈結資料與探索系統的介紹、BIBFRAME editor 的親和設計、BIBFRAME 接受 LRM 之 manifestation 的方法、Rare Materials 之 BIBFRAME profile 的發展、以及編目員為了適應官方版 RDA 所應了解的鏈結 資料。

研討會第2天探討主題著重於 BIBFRAME 的實施規劃、互通性與可轉換性、經驗分享。有關 BIBFRAME 的互通性與可轉換性，包括 LC 及史丹佛大學圖書館多位專家分享了 MARC 與 BIBFRAME 轉換的問題與其間所存在的差異、加拿大亞伯達大學圖書館介紹該館 系統 轉移計畫、有關 LC 著名的 BIBFRAME 編輯器 Marva 與 FOLIO 平台的無縫整合、以及加州大學戴維斯分校圖書館說明 Alma 系統自 MARC 改為 BIBFRAME 的挑戰。

本館與中華民國圖書館學會分類編目委員會多年合作舉辦 IO Talk 講座，致力於關注資訊組織新興議題，今（112）年首場於9月21 日以「鏈結資料的共享」為主題，邀請國立臺灣大學圖書館系統資訊組陳慧華組長分享在發展書目、權威資料鏈結化工作，以及參 與 Share-VDE 的經驗與思考。

陳亞寧副教授於開場時提到，書目與權威資料的鏈結化，是圖書館資訊組織領域當前廣受矚目的議題，Share-VDE（Share Virtual Discovery Environment，共享型虛擬探索環境）為眾多相關研發計劃中，頗具規模及成果的項目之一，該計劃由 Casalini Libri、@Cult 發起，聯合16家北美研究型圖書館成立，目前成員館仍不斷增加，目的是匯集圖書館社群的書目和權威資料，進行鏈結化的 加值與轉換，並發展鏈結型資料的探索平台，為檢索與呈現鏈結化書目資料提供更直觀的體驗。

主講人陳慧華組長則首先分享為因應鏈結資料的發展趨勢，國家圖書館和臺灣大學圖書館共同建置了臺灣權威鏈結資源，目的是希 望能讓中文書目與權威資料鏈結化，落實中文書目關聯。但若要真正實現鏈結資源效益，則需要有更大的資料群（data pool），更 多元的外部鏈結（external linking），加上書目、權威資料更新與處理的人力與時間等考量，加入 Share-VDE 成為目前較具效益的 選擇。Share-VDE 於2021年9月升級為 Share-VDE 2.0，提供直觀的使用者介面（discovery portal），為鏈結資料實現更豐富的檢 索結果，呈現書目中的實體關聯資訊，而將書目與權威資料上傳至Share-VDE，圖書館不僅可取得鏈結化加值後的書目與權威資 料，包括鏈結型 MARC 以及 BIBFRAME 等資料，還能透過其他國外圖書館瞭解語意網應用的最新發展。而在加入鏈結資料共享環 境後，對於圖書館本身的書目實務所產生的影響，包括：是否須同時保留 MARC 與 BIBFRAME 書目資料？如何讓編目館員熟悉 BIBFRAME 的編目環境？如何選用鏈結資料編目工具……等，成為未來圖書館資訊組織作業的重要考量。

本次 IO Talk 講座共有54位同道參與交流，透過臺灣大學圖書館的經驗，瞭解面對鏈結資料技術的發展浪潮，圖書館在實務上評估 參與相關合作計劃的可行性，認識相關系統、平台的優勢與缺點，以及瞭解未來需要更進一步進行的相關工作項目，也期許圖書館 界的共同合作，讓臺灣的書目與權威資料，真正實現書目關聯與鏈結的效益，進一步讓圖書館的書目服務能提供更好的檢索與探索 體驗。

更新 國家圖書館學位論文學校及系所（新增2校；修改2校）

The Michigan State University Libraries (MSUL) digital repository contains numerous collections of openly available material. Since 2016, the digital repository has been using Faceted Application of Subject Terminology (FAST) subject headings as its primary subject vocabulary in order to streamline faceting, display, and search. The MSUL FAST use case presents some challenges that are not addressed by existing MARC-focused FAST tools. This paper will outline the MSUL digital repository team’s justification for including FAST headings in the digital repository as well as workflows for adding FAST headings to Metadata Object Description Schema (MODS) metadata, their maintenance, and utilization for discovery.

Response to a plethora of historical forces that devalue comics, including hostile cataloging standards, led to the creation of the Best practices for cataloging comics and graphic novels using RDA and MARC21. The guide supports comics cataloging using current standards, recognizing the great diversity in this sequential art medium, as well as needs particular to public, academic and special libraries. With this, and related current and future projects, the Graphic Novels and Comics Round Table (GNCRT) hopes to promote equity in comics cataloging, and improve patron access to comics.
